THE VO-DIGNARD GROUP HOSTS DR. PAUL E. JACOBS FOR A LECTURE
This past January 10th, the Vo-Dignard Provost Group was honoured to host Dr. Paul E. Jacobs, Executive Chairman of Qualcomm Incorporated, for a lecture on the imminent impact imminent of new technologies.
Dr. Paul E. Jacobs is a leader in the telecommunications sector since over 25 years and is at the core of Qualcomm’s strategic vision. He contributes significantly to the growth of the company and of the industry of mobile technology.
He was introduced by Jonathan Durocher, president of National Bank Investments, who could demonstrate how ’Big Data’’ was going to change our industry and the world by using accumulated data to better target different markets, and in particular, how to exactly target their needs.
During the lecture, Dr. Jacobs elaborated on the subject by further explaining how technology will impact our lives over the next few years. He discussed future technologies and how these will change our actions and interactions.
